2019 PhD Graduate of Biophysics
Melissa Haskell

I am currently a student in the Harvard Biophysics Ph.D. program, and I have worked on MRI research as a graduate student in the lab of Larry Wald at the A. A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging for the past two years. As an undergraduate I majored in Physics and minored in Computer Science, and to support my graduate work I was awarded the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship in 2015. Since beginning my thesis work, I have focused my research efforts towards applications of numerical methods and optimization to improve magnetic resonance image reconstruction. I am specifically interested in motion correcting image reconstruction.
