Faculty Members who are interested in requesting Biophysics Program Faculty Affiliation should please send along via email:

A completed Faculty Affiliation Request Form, Research Advisor Expectations Form (both attached and updated August 2025), along with a Current Biosketch or CV to the Biophysics Program Office.

Affiliation with the Biophysics Program is limited to tenure-track faculty members, and is decided roughly once per semester by the Standing Committee on Biophysics and is based on demonstrated commitment to the training and mentoring of students; participation in program-based student academic milestones and community events; and the relevance of research focus to the core definition of biophysics and the mission of the Biophysics Program.  Faculty affiliation will be reviewed every 3 years.

The next faculty affiliation decisions will be made in mid Autumn 2025.  Any requests for faculty affiliation need to be submitted by October 1st, for this cycle. After this time, the next faculty affiliation decisions are anticipated to be made in February or March, 2026.
