Applying to the Harvard Biophysics Program
The Biophysics Program welcomes applications from students who desire to direct their strong quantitative skills toward biological problems in a profoundly deep way. Students from groups historically underrepresented in graduate education are strongly encouraged to apply, and we look forward to answering any questions applicants may have about the Biophysics Program application process, or what students can anticipate as they journey through their graduate training.

As a highly interdisciplinary program, we welcome applicants from a wide range of scientific backgrounds, including fields such as physics, biology, chemistry, mathematics, neuroscience, and biomedical engineering. The registration page also includes a link for students to submit anonymous questions in advance of the Open House, and a Zoom link for the meeting will be sent to all registrants prior to the date.
Representatives from the Harvard Biophysics Graduate Program will answer questions on aspects of the application process, biophysical research at Harvard, and the graduate student experience.
