Adams, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences I was born and raised in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In 2010 I graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in physics. My PhD work was in the Harvard Intelligent Probabilistic Systems group, supervised by Ryan P. Adams. My work focused on machine learning, specifically on techniques for Bayesian optimization. I also have had a lifelong interest in teaching.
