I am the Lawrence J Henderson Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School and director of the MGH Neuropathology Service at MGH. My research has focused on the intersection of neurodegenerative disease and cerebrovascular disease, as well as directing the Neuropathology Core of the Massachusetts Alzheimer Disease Research Center and the Boston Node of Autism BrainNet. In addition to research and clinical work I have been an active educator for >2 decades in the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Science & Technology (HST). I am Assocuare Director of HST, have taught neuroanatomy in the program for more than 25 years, directed the Neuroscience course and chaired the HST MD program’s admissions committee for 18 years.
