I am an HST MD-PhD student in Aaron Schmidt's lab, working at the intersection of virology and structural biology to design and optimize immunogens that can confer protection against viral infections. Additionally, I work to better understand viral evolution as driven by human immune responses using both computational and wet lab approaches. Previously, I obtained my undergraduate degree at UNC-Chapel Hill and a masters at the University of Cambridge. Outside of lab, I enjoy backpacking, hiking, and good food.
