**Dissertation Title:** Cell States and neuronal vulnerabilities in neurodegenerative diseases **PhD Dissertation Advisor:** Dr. Evan Macosko, Broad Institute of Harvard & MIT Tushar Kamath worked in the lab of Evan Macosko at the Broad Institute for his dissertation research. During his PhD research, he used interesting computational techniques and single-cell interrogative tools to uncover fundamental biology of the nervous system. Aside from his research, he also enjoys taking long walks in apple orchards and watching Netflix crime mockumentaries.
